Glastonbury Festival and EMI are proud to announce the forthcoming "Glastonbury Anthems – The Best Of 1994 to 2004". Due for release on the 21st March, this is the very first official Glastonbury DVD compilation, containing the ultimate collection of performances from the last 10 years of the world's best festival as voted by you - yes you - users of this website.The tracklisting was chosen by fans via our poll with an overwhelming 30,000+ of you responding - and the DVD’s contents were based on these votes. Opening with Blur’s early Brit-pop offering "This Is A Low" in ’94 and including many seminal Glastonbury moments from Radiohead, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Basement Jaxx, The Manic Street Preachers, Franz Ferdinand and 2004’s unforgettable performance of "Hey Jude" by Paul McCartney, the DVD is an essential record of the festival’s unrivalled diversity.
The DVD also includes an exclusive short film showing some of the other experiences at Glastonbury called 'Visit to The Glastonbury Greenfields' as well as a four minute clip from the legendary Glastonbury Fayre film shot at the1971 Festival. Additional material includes an interview with Michael and Jean Eavis filmed in 1995, a photo gallery and an aerial tour of the Festival site from the last Festival. It's a must for all our fans!
