360 Tours - Reliving Glastonbury

30 Jun 2004

Glastonbury Festival website was contacted earlier this year by John Colebrook of Lincs360.co.uk, who offered to create a 360 virtual tour of the Glastonbury Festival 2004, which is now available.

If you are wondering what a 360 virtual tour is, it's essentially a tool that allows you to step inside a moment. Using a special digital camera, similar in design to certain cameras used in The Matrix, an entire image can be created allowing you to see in all directions.

Using the viewer, which will launch if you click below, you can move around "inside the image", look up and down, behind you and below you. The results are quite addictive.

There are pictures from the pit at the Pyramid Stage, from the notorious footie defeat, from the Kings Meadow as well as several other places. Happy exploring!
