Howard Marks at Lost Vagueness
from Green - 28 Jun 2003No one is more qualified to apply for the high profile position of Drugs Czar than Howard Marks – and he certainly has a fairly simple solution to the problem!
With the job criteria being assets such as the ability to negotiate and cover national operations, Marks certainly convinced me he fit the bill.
The hardly visible Marks was lost on the aptly named stage save for his gravely voice and Welsh accent which carried over the crowd undiminished by the steady drizzle.
Things took a turn for the biblical when Howard rambled off his stoned-out alternative version of the Book of Genesis.
He asked if anybody in the audience did not take drugs, but this seemed unlikely in a throng of tightly packed bodies made hazy by the smoke hanging in the air.
