Caravans, Mobile Homes & Campervans

Caravans, campervans, trailer tents and mobile homes are accommodated in newly fenced (this year) designated fields - one of which is a family field - to the east of the Festival site: only in these fields is it permitted to sleep in vehicles; this is for your own safety. It has become necessary to introduce a certain amount of flexibility about tents in the C&C fields. If a tent is erected and is clearly incorporated with a campervan or caravan it will be allowed. This concession seeks to avoid difficulties that have presented themselves over the years - but it must not be abused. Please take extreme care to avoid the possibility of a vehicle moving. In particular it will not be possible to bring an 'ordinary' car into the C&C fields and camp next to it. Stewards and Security will be on hand.

To park and camp in this field you need a Campervan Pass, which cost £40. The demand for these is usually high, and you should buy your pass at the same time as your Festival tickets : each person entering the site with the vehicle still needs a ticket. Campervan passes are not sold separately to Festival tickets, but can be bought by post, phone or online from the Glastonbury Ticket Unit. See the tickets page.

Should you wish to purchase Car Park or Campervan tickets and have already booked your event tickets, please call the call centre on 0115 912 9129 with either your original booking reference number, postcode or ticket numbers. If you cannot prove you hold tickets we will be unable to sell you a Car Park or Campervan pass, and you will need to wait until you have your actual ticket and make a photocopy of it to apply for a pass.

All the campervan fields are situated on the East side of the site. Along with your ticket you will be issued with a windscreen sticker, this will help Police direct you to the right area. You will need to follow Blue Route (off the A37).

Toilets, standpipes and grey water disposal facilities are provided in each field. Mains electricity supply is not available.

Terms and Conditions of Use of the Caravan and Campervan facilities apply : breach of these may lead to removal and dis-barring from the Festival.

  • Vehicles must be parked as directed by the Parking Stewards.
No vehicles are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time.
No trading of any kind is permitted in the caravan/campervan fields.
No sound systems are to be operated in the caravan/campervan fields. Noise levels will be monitored very closely, especially in the family area (near Benleigh), which is particularly close to the village.
No canvas can be erected, except for manufacturers' awnings on caravans and caravanettes.
The fields must be clear by 12 noon on Tuesday 28 June. Any remaining vehicles will be removed.
Please respect the Country Code at all times.
Please do not use the village for access - this causes particular inconvenience for the villagers.
The towing vehicle should remain with the 'caravan', and not be taken off somewhere else to be parked.
Each person with the vehicle still requires a Festival ticket.

The grass fields set aside for campervans and caravans have been chosen specifically for this purpose. Account has been made of any sloping places that cannot be used in calculating capacities.
