Elephant Talk
29 Jun 2003Unable to wait for their Sunday night slot in the Croissant Neuf cabaret tent, world music trance-meisters Elephant Talk decided to put on an impromptu performance of their oeuvre on the tiny bandstand in the Green Roadshow field on Saturday night.
Tired evening heads were drawn to the three piece’s hypnotic mix of tablas, sax, didge, flute and guitar set against synthetic beats. A sort of psychedelic trance meets Afro Celt.
It is the soundtrack to that transitionary moment between sun drenched afternoon and the refreshing cool of evening. Ahh…
