LPD digital mobile
29 Jun 2003Tucked away behind the One World Stage sits what surely must be one of the smallest mobile recording studios ever! Home to LPD digital mobile, the studio can record up to 48 tracks to hard disk and incorporate ambient sounds to capture the unique festival atmosphere.
This facility is an extremely useful and valuable resource for bands who want their live performance recorded. I didn’t envy the job of the sound engineers tucked away in their sweltering, claustrophobic sound proofed ‘cupboard’ but lets hope we see more LPD studios around the different Glasto stages next year.
