Freudian slips at the Acoustic Tent
29 Jun 2003It would appear that the only slips the Fire Stewards at the Acoustic Tent have been making are Freudian ones.
A Chief Steward was heard introducing his team to the routines of stewarding with the immortal lines: "You don't need to stay static - you need to move around with the crowd - just so long as you're spaced out at the exits."
His second-in-command, barely able to suppress a giggle, apparently followed this up pretty swiftly with: "I think what my colleague might have meant was that you should be equally dispersed amongst the exits!"
The Chief Steward, bless him, is said to have looked around bewildered, thoroughly unaware as to why people might be laughing...
