The Media

As the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts grows from a field and into an international media phenomenon there are ever more ways than ever to see it without actually being there.

The warm up starts the week before the festival with a nightly programme on BBC3 "Glastonbury Calling". For the first week this is from the comfort of Television Centre in London with archive performances and live bands in the studio. This will be presented by Colin and Edith and will be on nightly at 8pm on BBC3 TV and then repeated at midnight at 3am. You can get more info from the BBC3 website.
